About Binat Shlomo
SUPPORTING GARIN TORANI PROGRAMS IN ISRAEL
Founded by Rabbi Shalom Edery, Binat Shlomo is an 501(c)(3) organization that supports Garin Torani programs in Ramat Gan and Or Yehuda. Garin Torani is comprised of religious Zionists who settle in underdeveloped communities to help build up and strengthen the community through social and religious programming.
Thanks to the support of Binat Shlomo, Garin Torani in Or Yehuda and Ramat Gan has brought about tremendous growth in the areas of Jewish identity, army preparation, education and social services. Read more about our programs below.
Bet Midrash & JEWISH IDENTITY
The Bet Midrash serves as a spiritual center for families and individuals who seek to add meaning to their lives, offering daily Torah lessons in addition to Bar and Bat Mitzvah programming.

MECHINA ARMY PREPARATION
EDUCATION
Garin Torani supports religious education in Or Yehuda and Ramat Gan, including six pre-schools, a social daycare center, kindertartens, and the elementary school "Sa'adya Gaon."

The Oriya care facility for children at risk, one of our main social activities, operates in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs and local government. We also provide food for Shabbat meals and Jewish holidays to families in need.

Programs
The Mechina is pre-army program designated for high school graduateds before their service in the IDF. The program, which is operated in partnership with the Ministry of Defense, combines Torah studies and physical fitness.
